Cooke's nomination letter described her as someone who "genuinely cares about the people around her." Her favorite strokes, freestyle and breaststroke, are a testament to her versatility and passion for the sport. Salles, on the other hand, is an 18-year-old Pinewood swimmer and coach who has spent her entire swimming career with the Porpoises.
